ETICS over CLT panels (130)
Wood has broken into the local construction sector to stay. Proof of this is that architects, no longer seek to boast of using it showing they undertake a responsible and sostenible work; but rather they use it to the extent that it is the most appropriate material to respond to certain project requirements.
By covering this wood, on the outside, with expanded polystyrene, we do not know to what extent the architects contradict the principles that guided its choice as the structural material. Possibly prefabrication, a clean and dry construction process, had a lot to do with the use of the CLT panel. The solution adopted not only bets for the material, wood; but the system: panels without casting.
