Small sice cuttings (087)
In the case of this building, and attending only to the facade solution, we want to draw attention to two things:
The first one is a simple curiosity; the bet for resorting to a facade system composed by two layers with a drained cavity in between but still insulating the building from the inside. An insulation of agglomerated fibers was gunned on the external side of the brick wall, but this insulation is complementary to that covering the inner side of this same wall. It should, therefore, be necessary to place a vapor barrier in the inner side of the façade solution, turning what could have been a moisture permeable solution, into a "non-breathable" one.
The second is an worning; Pay attention to the substructure cost that accompanies certain cutting proposals!!
