Offset in the sectorization against fire spreading (106)

The search for almost completely continuous glazing across the façade has led to a potential fire hazard through the possible spread of fire between floors. In this case, this problem is solved by offsetting the glass panel by several centimetres.

In this way, the number of joints in the façade is reduced, and so is the need for additional profiles. The cutting pattern does not show so clearly what is happening behind the façade. This gap between the glass and the panel can be used for fitting a roller blind or indirect lighting. Appropriate illumination may permit blurring the bottom limit of this separating element.
